Constellation Aims to Achieve Nothing with Newly Launched Advertising Campaign

America’s #1 producer of zero-emissions energy shows policy makers and influencers why “Nothing Really Matters”

BALTIMORE (Sept. 16, 2024) — Constellation (Nasdaq: CEG) has a whole lot of nothing going on, and it wants to let everyone know about it. In its newly launched digital brand advertising campaign, Constellation showcases its leadership role in a clean energy future, pointing out that net-zero emissions is not enough and what the nation truly needs is, well, nothing — no emissions, no pollution and no downtimes.

Constellation is already the largest producer of clean energy in the nation by far, generating 90% emissions-free energy, with a goal to reach 100% by 2040. The campaign strengthens the company’s reputation and role in the national discussion about the need to grow reliable and clean energy. It also deepens Constellation’s connections with key audiences and helps strengthen support for the company and its No. 1 product: clean energy.

“We’ve spent decades investing in cutting-edge clean energy technologies and innovation, and I’m proud to say, we have nothing to show for it,” said Constellation’s Chief Nothing Officer. “We are working nonstop for zero impact, and as the nation’s No. 1 producer of zero-emissions energy, we are the only company in America that can truly promise nothing, thanks to our portfolio of wind, hydro, solar and the nation’s largest always-on nuclear fleet.”

The new digital campaign is now in market, running nationally and in the key states and regions where Constellation operates, inspiring policy makers and influencers to learn more about the company and its strategy. Produced in partnership with long-time advertising agency Weber Shandwick, Constellation’s new ad campaign includes digital banner ads, video, connected TV and social media and will run in the Washington Post, CNN, Politico, Semafor and Punchbowl, among others.

While tongue-in-cheek in nature, the campaign draws attention to one of the most pressing issues of this generation, and how Constellation and its employees are working to solve it, positioning the company as the leading voice on the clean energy transition.
