Our Impact at a Glance

STRATEGIC TALENT SOURCING

We are intentional in our sourcing efforts to attract highly skilled talent from a broad pipeline of candidates through outreach, relationships, technology and inclusive practices that provide equal employment opportunities.
Developed and launched a new corporate engagement with Headlamp, a SkillBridge company, to expand our military recruiting pipeline.
Participated in over 25 recruiting events, including university and military career fairs to engage with talented, highly skilled students and professionals.
Recruited Constellation Scholars to apply to be considered for available internships and regular positions. Extended offers for internships to 23 qualified Constellation Scholars.
Spotlight: “PowerEd”


In 2024, Constellation’s PowerEd program enhanced and expanded relationships with 15 universities. Our work focused on fostering mutually beneficial relationships often in the areas of research, talent acquisition, innovation, outreach and knowledge exchange. We held and attended events like career fairs, meet and greets and internship exploration sessions. We expanded our outreach by offering a new mentorship program launched by Constellation volunteers to help cultivate a dynamic pipeline of early-career talent.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Our goal is to Improve career awareness, foster equal access and opportunities, and upskill/reskill workers in the energy industry. Learn more about our Workforce Development efforts.
24 students and 12 Constellation mentors participated in the inaugural Chris Crane High School to Work Program, which was launched in collaboration with Joliet Junior College and established a long-term dual credit program for nuclear maintenance technician positions.
16 Pre-Apprentices participated in observing refueling outage activities as part of our new Outage Job Shadow program, launched across 3 sites, to help them gain exposure to select trades and the nuclear landscape during site refueling.
Dozens of STEM opportunities hosted in plant communities, such as Nuclear Science Week, which connects our employees with K-12 teachers to bring nuclear energy curriculum into the classroom.
Spotlight: “Powering Change”

Initiated in 2023, our $1.25 million Powering Change initiative provides grants to seven nonprofit organizations to help create a pipeline of highly skilled workers to support family sustaining careers and uplift and strengthen our communities. SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT & ENGAGEMENT

Our supplier development and engagement mission is to drive value and top- and bottom-line growth. We aim to sustain a responsible and inclusive supply chain that provides access to a broad pool of suppliers, including small and local businesses, that support our business and communities and add sustainable value through innovation, competition, agility, cost effective solutions and supply chain resilience.
Over 25+ outreach and engagement events attended, participated in and/or sponsored.
965 new suppliers registered in our supplier registration system, SMART GEP.
INCLUSION & BELONGING

Create equal opportunities for all of our employees by establishing a culture of inclusion and belonging.
1,328 employees trained through our new JOURNEY TO BELONGING: From Awareness to Application Experiential Learning Program.
50 mid-level leaders from across the business came together in the RISE (Reach Across Boundaries to Influence, Support and Empower) Program, launched late last year.
81% of employees who responded to Great Place to Work® survey said Constellation is a great place to work.
Spotlight: “Hosted Inaugural ERG Summit”

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) build employee connection and engagement. Open to all employees, more than 5,000 employee members are actively involved in nine ERGs across 67 chapters. Constellation’s ERGs hosted their second successful ERG Summit for all employees, centered around the theme “Standing at the Intersection”. The event brought together more than 161-chapter board members and sponsors, marking a 71% increase in attendance from the previous year.
