Clean & Balanced Mix
We operate a broad range of energy facilities across different regions, markets and technologies as part of our commitment to provide reliable and sustainable solutions that meet our customers' needs. Our diverse generation portfolio includes a mix of zero- and low-carbon energy sources, including the nation's largest nuclear fleet, and hydro, wind, solar, geothermal and natural gas facilities.
Our Fleet
Constellation has been a trusted leader in the drive toward a cleaner energy future for decades. We continuously invest in the latest technologies and solutions to strengthen and expand our portfolio, and our focus on securing America’s energy future is supported by the full strength of our fleet of nuclear, hydro, wind, solar, geothermal and natural gas facilities.
Our team of almost 16,500 employees drives our industry-leading performance through their commitment to our customers, communities and the environment.
Constellation is working to build an integrated grid that combines existing clean power facilities with new distributed generation technologies. Our culture of innovation provides new opportunities and promotes the early adoption of new technologies and processes. As we move toward a clean future of energy, all our energy sources will work together to provide the reliable power upon which the nation relies.
Divisions
With Nuclear and Power as our core generation divisions, Constellation is the nation's leading clean energy producer with the largest nuclear fleet and the lowest carbon emissions intensity in the United States. Our operations produce about 10% of the United States' emissions-free energy.
For 20 consecutive years, our nuclear plants have maintained an exceptional performance record, achieving a 2024 capacity factor of 94.6%. Our consistent performance enabled our nuclear fleet to produce approximately 182 million megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity in 2024.
Constellation Power manages, operates and maintains the Constellation's historic fleet of natural gas, hydroelectric, wind, solar and oil assets.
Calpine manages, operates and maintains Calpine's fleet of geothermal, natural gas, solar and battery storage assets.
