BALTIMORE – Constellation is proud to congratulate longtime brand ambassador Jim Furyk, who capped off his PGA TOUR Champions debut by sealing a victory yesterday in the Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc Township, Mi. The result marks Furyk’s 18th PGA TOUR victory and his first on the PGA TOUR Champions.
This spring, Constellation announced that it is deepening its partnership with Furyk — and providing charitable support for children and families in need in north Florida — by serving as the title sponsor for the Constellation Furyk & Friends tournament. The event debuts October 4-10, 2021, at Timuquana Country Club in Furyk’s hometown of Jacksonville, Fla.
Later this week, Furyk will compete in the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Constellation serves at the Official Energy Provider and Sustainability Partner of the PGA Championship, the first Major of the year.
Since 2016, Constellation has helped reduce the environmental impact of the PGA Championship by providing RECs to match the electricity used during the event. The Constellation brand will also be featured on the course and in advertising during live tournament coverage on ESPN and Golf Channel.
“Jim is a world class competitor who enjoys an exceptional reputation on and off the course and is a tremendous ambassador for our brand,” said Mark Huston, president of Constellation’s National Retail Business. “Our partnerships in golf with Jim Furyk, the PGA TOUR through Constellation Furyk & Friends, and the PGA of America, enable us to engage our customers, connect with fans, and promote sustainability while providing a platform to tell our story and increase our visibility in the marketplace, both on a regional and national level.”
