Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center's two nuclear reactors in Delta, Pennsylvania can generate 2,770 megawatts (MW) of clean, emissions-free electricity. Constellation owns 50 percent of Peach Bottom, producing enough energy to power the equivalent of nearly 2 million homes. PSEG owns the other 50 percent of Peach Bottom. Constellation operates the plant.

U.S. nuclear energy facilities are initially licensed to operate for 40 years and a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) rule allows licensees to apply for initial and subsequent license renewals of up to 20 years each after the initial 40-year term. The NRC approved initial license renewal for Peach Bottom on May 7, 2003. Peach Bottom Unit 2 is licensed through 2033 and Unit 3 is licensed through 2034.

We provide hundreds of well-paying jobs and millions of dollars in economic support, including about $1.5 million in taxes annually for schools, roads and other public services.
