The Governance, Oversight, Support, and Performance (GOSP) group maintains a robust EMS that, through annual audits, maintains certification of the Nuclear business unit to the Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2015 standard. This certification covers the governance oversight support and performance activities over the non-radiological environmental program elements associated with the production of electricity from nuclear fission on station owned property.

Note: The certification does not cover the radiological environmental elements nor activities on leased property, approved right-of-ways, recreational areas, and substations and switchyards owned and/or operated by a third party.

The 2025 Benchmarking Air Emissions of the 100 Largest Electric Power Producers in the U.S. Report
is the 20th collaborative effort highlighting environmental performance and progress in the U.S. electric power sector. The report uses publicly reported data from 2022 to compare the emissions performance of the 100 largest power producers in the U.S.

According to the 2025 report, Constellation is the nation's largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy and has the lowest carbon dioxide emissions among the 20 largest private, investor-owned power producers in the U.S. for the 11th consecutive year. The next cleanest company in that group emitted nearly four-and-a-half times more carbon dioxide (lbCO2e/MWh) than Constellation.
