Sendero Wind Project
A Natural, Renewable Energy Source
Sendero Wind Project is located in Jim Hogg and Zapata Counties in Texas. The 78 megawatt (MW) project consists of 39 turbines and went into commercial operation in December 2015. The Brownsville Public Utilities Board has a 25-year agreement to purchase the energy that Sendero produces.
