Exelon, the nation’s largest producer of clean energy and the largest utility by customer count, was named one of
Fortune Magazine’s
2020 World's Most Admired Companies, marking its 14th year on the list. Companies are ranked on criteria that includes investment value, quality of management and products, commitment to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.
The company issued the following statement on the recognition by Fortune Magazine:
“While 2020 brought significant challenges to nearly every aspect of Exelon’s business operations and strategy, our employees and leadership met those challenges, delivered record operational performance and recommitted to our values, This honor belongs to our nearly 34,000 employees, who have continued to adapt remarkably during the last year, and who continue to provide our customers and communities with clean, safe and reliable energy day in and day out.”
