Threemile Canyon Wind Project
A Natural, Renewable Energy Source
Threemile Canyon Wind Project is located in Boardman, Oregon. Threemile Canyon went into commercial operation in August 2009 and its six turbines can produce 10 megawatts (MW), enough clean energy to power more than 2,900 homes. PacifiCorp purchases energy from the project under a long-term power purchase agreement.
