Michigan Wind 2 Project is located in Sanilac County, Michigan. Michigan Wind 2 went into commercial operation in January 2012, and its 50 turbines are capable of producing 90 megawatts (MW), enough clean energy to power approximately 30,000 homes. Consumers Energy is purchasing energy from the project under a long-term power purchase agreement.
