Powering Communities

Constellation has a strong track record of powering communities by making an impact across a range of fronts in the communities we serve and where our employees live and work. Our employees have shown incredible leadership in giving back, and we are committed to encouraging this culture. In 2021 alone, Constellation contributed $5.2 million, and our employees donated an additional $5.0 million in support of more than 4,000 organizations. Plus, our employees provided 64,800 volunteer hours across 34 states.

Providing clean energy to our customers is just the beginning. Our signature environmental partnerships reinforce our commitment to sustainability and our position as the leader in clean energy:

Equity & Education

Our commitment to racial equity and supporting the next generation of young leaders begins with investing in education, STEM, and workforce development. We sustain important partnerships to support the communities where we operate:

  • E2 Energy to Educate awards ($510,000 in 2021) to support hands-on student projects focusing on equity in energy, taking action to address climate change, and advancing sustainability.
  • Scholarships and mentoring to increase access for diverse students and inspire the next generation of Constellation employees to help us confront the climate crisis.
  • STEM opportunities hosted in plant communities, such as Nuclear Science Week, which connects our employees with K-12 teachers to bring nuclear energy curriculum into the classroom.

Employee Volunteerism & Philanthropy

Our employees demonstrate extraordinary leadership for the charitable causes most important to them. To mirror their passions, Constellation amplifies, champions, and celebrates individual employee community engagement and achievements:
