A Natural, Renewable Energy Source

Harvest I Wind Project was Michigan's first commercial-scale wind project and spans 3,200 acres in Huron County, Michigan. Harvest I went into commercial operation January 2008, and its 32 turbines are capable of producing 53 megawatts (MW) of clean electricity. Wolverine Power Cooperative has a 20-year agreement to purchase the output from the Harvest I Wind Project.
