As Senior Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Affairs and Advocacy, Emily Duncan leads Constellation's enterprise strategy and integrated external engagement including communications, marketing and philanthropy. She serves on the Constellation Executive Committee, which sets strategy and direction for the company.
Constellation is America's largest producer of reliable and clean energy, with more than 55,000 megawatts of generating capacity from nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas, geothermal and hydro assets. The company also serves more than 2.5 million homes, businesses and public sector customers nationwide, including three-fourths of the Fortune 100.
Most recently, Duncan served as senior vice president of investor relations and strategic initiatives, where she led Constellation's investor relations strategy, outreach, planning and execution as well as financial analysis of Constellation's strategic initiatives. In that role, she helped shape Constellation's investor narrative as a newly public company and led investor messaging and outreach for the company's $16.4 billion acquisition of Calpine. Her work was recognized by IR Magazine, where she was named a finalist for best IR team in a corporate transaction. Extel (Institutional Investor Magazine) named Duncan to the All-American Executive Team in multiple categories the last three years, including best IR professional, best IR program and best ESG program in the utility sector.
Prior to joining Constellation, Duncan spent more than 15 years at Exelon, holding leadership roles across investor relations, federal government affairs and public policy. During her tenure, she led Exelon's investor relations team and earlier directed the company's federal advocacy and public policy efforts, advancing priorities on energy, environmental and regulatory issues. Earlier in her career, Duncan served as legislative counsel to U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh, where she coordinated major policy initiatives related to energy and the environment.
Duncan is on the Constellation Foundation board, which was established to expand the company's philanthropic mission and further its commitment to investing long term in the communities it serves.
Duncan holds a juris doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a bachelor's degree in history from Indiana University Bloomington.
