Daniel L. Eggers

Senior Executive Vice President, Finance and Data Economy

As Senior Executive Vice President, Finance and Data Economy, Dan Eggers provides oversight of all financial activities and leads Constellation's data economy business. In this role, he is driving the development of innovative solutions to support customer needs and unlock new value streams, positioning Constellation at the forefront of the energy industry's transformation. He also serves on the Constellation Executive Committee, which sets strategy and direction for the company.

Constellation is America's largest producer of reliable and clean energy, with more than 55,000 megawatts of generating capacity from nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas, geothermal and hydro assets. The company also serves more than 2.5 million homes, businesses and public sector customers nationwide, including three-fourths of the Fortune 100.

Eggers was named to Institutional Investor's "Best CFO" rankings for the utilities sector in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Professional Background

Eggers served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Constellation, leading the execution of all financial activities, since the inception of the company in 2022. In this role he also served on the Constellation Executive Committee and acted as executive sponsor of a number of key strategic initiatives including the restart of the Crane Clean Energy Center and integration of the Calpine acquisition.

Prior to Constellation, he served as senior vice president of corporate finance for Exelon Corporation, where he led Exelon's management of investor relations, treasury, corporate planning, corporate financial operations, and insurance. He joined Exelon in 2016 as senior vice president of investor relations. He also served on Exelon’s Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Exelon, Eggers was a managing director at Credit Suisse in the equity research department where he ultimately served as co-head of U.S. energy research. Over his 18-year career at Credit Suisse, Eggers held roles in equity research covering other energy related sectors.

Community Work

Eggers serves on the board of directors of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, an organization committed to ensuring that the downtown experience is safe, hospitable and memorable. He also serves as an advisory board member with FM Global, a commercial property insurance firm. Additionally, Eggers is on the Constellation Foundation board, which was established to expand the company's philanthropic mission and further its commitment to investing long term in the communities it serves.

Educational Background

Eggers received a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Christian University with departmental honors and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000. He also completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Reactor Technology Course in 2023.
