  • Uplift and Strengthen our Communities:  Advance respect, belonging, diversity and equity:  drive community investment and create family-sustaining clean energy jobs for all.

In response to the climate crisis, the world is rapidly moving toward a carbon-free future – and Constellation is accelerating that transition. As the nation’s largest producer of carbon-free and low-emissions energy, it's no exaggeration to say that no other company in our industry is better positioned to be at the forefront of the fight against climate change.

Constellation provides 10 percent of total clean power and 22 percent of clean baseload power in the United States. At a time when a majority of states, hundreds of communities, and major corporations are all setting ambitious climate goals and seeking greater access to clean energy, we stand ready to meet the accelerating demand.

Our strength also comes from our position as a leading supplier of energy products and services aimed at helping customers manage their energy use, become more energy efficient, and match their energy consumption with carbon-free energy. We offer a full suite of products and services, such as energy efficiency, on- and off-site clean energy and storage options, carbon offsets and energy management, GHG monitoring and reporting, among other services.

In addition, Constellation has strong relationships with national labs, venture capital and startups that will help ensure that we remain on the leading edge of innovation in our rapidly transforming industry.

Our carbon-free energy production and clean energy solutions, investments in innovation, and close customer relationships are the secret sauce that will continue to fuel our growth, now and in the future.

Industry Trends

In addition to the transition to a carbon-free future, several industry trends are informing Constellation’s customer-centric approach to growth. Among these are:

Diversification is changing the types of assets on the grid and how the grid will dispatch.

  • Stakeholders increasingly recognize the importance of nuclear energy sources that enable energy security, reliability, and diversification.
  • Distributed generation and battery storage will be key components of the decarbonized grid of the future.
  • Centralized power stations and decentralized assets, both behind and in front of the meter, stand-alone or in aggregation, are becoming more common.
  • Clean energy technologies such as hydrogen and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) are rapidly advancing.

Customers increasingly prefer to be connected to, manage, and measure their energy usage, leading to the emergence of digitalization.

  • The rapid development of disruptive technologies enables a path to achieving U.S. decarbonization goals.
  • Platform-based business models bring consumers and producers together, expanding customer access and improving experience while reducing cost and supporting greater efficiency.
